The combination of a 36% increase in carbon emissions by last mile delivery vehicles and infrastructure in the last decade and a 51% decrease in MARTA ridership since 2019 prompted a needed push towards a more sensible future for delivery in the city.

SYMBO is a fully autonomous personal delivery valet robot that is symbiotic with existing Atlanta infrastructure such as the MARTA to create a more connected city and provide a solution for environmental, traffic congestion, and safety concerns.

The piece of this project that I am the most proud of isn't the glamour shots, or the renderings, but rather the path that led to them, and the documented steps that were taken to determine a creative direction and the best solution for a growing problem.
